Bacterial Disease Threats

Abstract

Discover and identify new antigens, virulence factors and adjuvants that will lead to the development of effective diarrheal vaccines against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia Coli (ETEC), Shigella and Campylobacter. Identify approaches to develop multivalent vaccines that achieve protective efficacy across several bacterial serotypes and species, as well as identify correlates of protection from bacterial diarrheal disease in animal models and in humans.
