BLU-134/B Improved Lethality Warhead (ILW)
Abstract
BLU-134/B Improved Lethality Warhead (ILW), formerly known as Improved Lethality (IL), seeks to improve lethality against area targets, to include anti-personnel anti-materiel (APAM) targets. Improvements must meet current DoD policy on cluster munitions and unintended harm to civilians and may be synergistic with maintaining a suitable manufacturing base while also providing possible solutions for other Next Generation Area Attack Weapons (NGAAW).
