Joint Warfighting Integrated NetOps (JWIN)

Abstract

New Start - Contingent upon congressional appropriation and congressional notification - Joint Warfighting Integrated NetOps (JWIN) will consolidate independent service networks into a single integrated network management view that uses a JWIN gateway to translate service specific network information into a common format. This common format allows the integration of policy controls to provide a single end-to-end situational awareness view for the Joint Task Force Commander. Key benefits include enhanced situational awareness to understand the impact of network events on critical operations and end-to-end network distributed policy control and management capabilities used to execute authoritative direction over critical network resources.
