DON Technology Transfer
Abstract
DON Technology Transfer (T2) Program Office is responsible for Technology Transfer policy updates, administration, and oversight as delegated by the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV). The T2 Program Office is also responsible for programmatic and financial management, setting requirements for and administering professional training, opportunity marketing, setting T2 laboratory designation authority, pilot program administration, T2 records management, review, reporting, and storage. This program has also been aligned within NavalX and also provides the DON interface to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, and to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Technology Policy for matters relating to policy and reporting requirements for technology transfer.
