Abstract

This effort designs and laboratory tests new vaccine candidates against dengue and other hemorrhagic fever viruses (severe viral infection that causes internal bleeding) such as hantaviruses (cause of Korean hemorrhagic fever) and other lethal viruses (i.e., Lassa fever and Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever), as well as assesses other non-vaccine technologies to protect against such lethal viral diseases.
