8) Modeling & Simulation
Abstract
Provide modeling of NTA materials for hazard prediction. Develop NTA source term algorithms for predicting CBRN hazards from intentionally functioning weapons, counter-proliferation scenarios (bomb on target), and missile intercept. Investigate NTA agent fate for secondary effects, environmental/atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric and waterborne transport and dispersion, human effects, model Validation and Verification (V&V), scaled testing, casualty estimation, and supporting data management.
