Abstract
Investigate technology for advanced batteries, fuel reformers, and fuel cells to be used in hybrid power sources for future electromagnetic armor and smart munitions, Hybrid Electric Vehicle, and Soldier power applications. Investigate silicon carbide (SiC) power module technologies to enable compact high efficiency, high temperature (up to 150 C heat sink temperature) and high power density converters for motor drive and pulse power applications.
