MultiScale Optical Sensor Array Imaging (MOSAIC)*

Abstract

*Formerly Computational Imaging (CI). (U)The Multiscale Optical Sensor Array Imaging (MOSAIC) program will develop new imaging constructs that exploit the full information content (intensity, phase, and frequency) at the detection plan to perform real-time image processing in the analog domain. This will be combined with advanced digital image processing algorithms to leverage the unique image plane information for more rapid image analysis and target identification. This will lead to revolutionary advances in the detection, precision identification, tracking and destruction of elusive targets.
