Aided Target Recognition (AiTR)
Abstract
This project accelerates the development and demonstration of a modular processing component that enables automatic threat detection capabilities on size, weight, and power (SWaP) constrained platforms. AiTR provides embedded capabilities for existing and next-generation sensors, resulting in approximately 50 percent improvement in target identification range. Prototype development in FY 2022 ensured that AiTR met the SWaP requirements for effective use.
