Aegis Ashore Defense

Abstract

Consistent with direction in Public Law 114-92, National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2016, the Department is required to provide defense of Aegis Ashore sites in Romania and Poland by mid-year 2019. Congress eliminated all funding for this initiative in the FY 2018 Appropriations Act.
