AEGIS DEVELOPMENTAL TESTING / OPERATIONAL TESTING (DT/OT)
Abstract
The AEGIS Combat System (ACS) is made up of several elements including AEGIS Weapons System (AWS) Components, the SPY-1 or SPY-6 radars, Ship Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP), Standard Missile (SM), Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) and CIWS. CP 2024 will be developed with five Capability Baselines (CB) that will require CS DT/OT testing prior to deployment. BL 10.1 consists of the ACS for DDG FL III ships, providing improved capability to the already established BL 10.0 and will require CS DT/OT testing prior to deployment. Test requirements will be documented in TEMP 1669.
