Next-Gen OPIR Space, Block 0 Polar

Abstract

Development of the Next-Gen OPIR Polar (NGP) missile warning satellites using a proven bus with modifications, auxiliary payloads for improved resiliency, and new hardened sensors. The Polar space segment will consist of two NGP satellites in a resilient architecture, providing real time persistent infrared coverage of the northern hemisphere.
