Survivable Airborne Strategic Communications
Abstract
FY22 efforts are funded in the new PE 0605180N Project Unit 3259 The E-XX Take Charge and Move Out (TACAMO) Recapitalization program provides the complete replacement aircraft and mission systems for the aging E-6B aircraft. The program is intended to provide Survivable Airborne Strategic Communications in support of the President, Secretary of Defense and United States strategic and non-strategic forces. In order to provide survivable, endurable and reliable Command, Control, and Communications capability, continued effort is needed to perform technical evaluations, modeling and simulation, requirements derivation and contract development. Funding is for reducing integration risk on aircraft, developing requirements and risk reduction contracts, and a development program.
