Iris Identification Algorithm Evaluation for Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) and Future Systems
Abstract
This project evaluated the performance of iris identification algorithms to enable the selection of the algorithm with the highest expected operational performance and interoperability for BAT and future DoD systems. This project independently evaluated each algorithm in concert with the current BAT hardware to produce bench mark metrics for each algorithm’s accuracy, computational efficiency, and interoperability to be used as a basis for selecting the best algorithm for BAT and other systems.
