HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, PART THREE. CHAPTER 7: CHEMICAL PROPERTIES. CHAPTER 8: DECOMPOSITION PROCESSES

Abstract

The discussion of the chemical properties of hydrogen peroxide has been divided among three chapters. In this chapter the general chemical behavior and the stoichiometric reactions of hydrogen peroxide are described. The following chapter deals with decomposition processes, that is, reactions in which stoichiometric proportions are not or cannot be observed. Chapter nine (not included here) discusses the subject of the stability of hydrogen peroxide.
