Evaluation of Halogenated Hydrocarbon and Alkali-Earth-Metal-Salt Fire Extinguishing Agents for Low Temperatures

Abstract

To improve methods and equipment for combating arctic fires, this Laboratory has been given the task of evaluating improved fire extinguishing agents for low temperatures and developing a portable fire sprinkler system for building protection. This is a final report on results stemming from tests on newly developed fire extinguishing agents for low-temperature use.
