NEW AND MODIFIED ANCHORS FOR MOORINGS

Abstract

This final report describes the design and development of family (200 lb, 6,000 lb, 9,000 lb, 12,000 lb) of new mooring anchors which is lightweight, performs efficiently in sand or mud bottoms, and provides a range of holding powers of 6,000 to 10,000 lb.
