It summarizes briefly: (a) the measurement of vibration, (b) the production of controlled vibratory stimulation for research purposes, (c) the injurious effects of vibration, (d) discomfort due to vibration, (e) effects of vibration on task performance, and (f) beneficial uses of vibration.
