TEST REPORT ON SEALED SILVER OXIDE-ZINC SECONDARY CELLS

Abstract

Silver oxide-zinc battery cells, constructed with hand-fabricated lucite containers and equipped with pressure gauges, were used to determine cycle life. Various combinations of separators and negative plate additives were used. Three cells with molded nylon containers and covers and with metal terminal-to-plastic seals passed the environmental tests.
