Research in Fluoro-Nitro Compounds

Abstract

Emphasis has continued on studies of the reactions of difluoramine and on the fluorination of nitrogenous materials in aqueous solutions, with the aim of producing new types of high-energy compounds. The chemical reactivity of these materials was examined. Work was also carried out to prepare inorganic NF oxidizers. This area has included the preparation of fluorammonium salts and the characterization of a reported complex of azine fluoride and potassium fluoride.
