THE OPERATION OF THE WICHITA MOUNTAINS SEISMOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY

Abstract

The operation of the Wichita Mountains Seismological Observatory between 1 July 1964 and 31 October 1965 is discussed. Modifications and additions to the observatory instrumentation are described and tests to improve the operation of the observatory are reported. Also discussed is the progress of special investigations designed to evaluate and improve the detection capability of the observatory.
