PRESHOT AND POSTSHOT STRUCTURE SURVEY
Abstract
This survey was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Operational Safety Plan, Project Shoal, dated May 1963. The report documents the preshot and postshot condition of all structures within 10 miles of Ground Zero (GZ), plus structures at Salt Wells and surface structures at mines that were included in the mine survey. The structures were surveyed in order to document, photographically and in writing, any physical changes resulting from the Shoal Event. A detailed report covering each structure is contained in Appendix A. These reports include a statement of the preshot condition and comment on any physical changes observed. These included a report on 27 properties. Appendix B contains 321 preshot and postshot photographs, and Appendix C consists of a Project Shoal Vicinity Map.
