DESIGN STUDY AND FABRICATION OF TWO INTERCHANGEABLE UH-1 AIRCREW ARMOR SYSTEMS

Abstract

The design and evaluation of two interchangeable UH-1 aircrew armor systems capable of defeating 7.62mm, .30-caliber, and .50-caliber AP ammunition are described. The design features of the systems are described, and a structural analyssis of the system is presented.
