A Generalization of Tang Statz and deMars Theory of Multimode Oscillations in a Solid-State Laser

Abstract

The Tang, Statz and deMars theory of multimode oscillations of a solid-state laser, under stationary conditions, is extended to treat the cases of cavities with lossy end mirrors or with frequency-dependent losses.
