Abstract

A comprehensive documentation of the flight simulator study is given. Simulator investigations of high speed conventional flight are described. The construction of the XV-5A flight simulator from initial development of methods for incorporation of the aircraft aero-propulsion characteristics into the analog computer to final checkout of the completed hydraulic and controls simulator is given.
