LOW-FREQUENCY TOP-LOADED ANTENNAS

Abstract

Electrical properties of top-loaded monopole antennas and changes in these properties with top-hat configuration are analyzed and interpreted. It is recommended that the top-loaded monopole be accepted as the Navy standard for low-frequency use. Curves suitable for use in design are presented.
