ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH IN THE SAMIR VALLEY OF THE HINDU KUSH, AFGHANISTAN.

Abstract

The report presents the results of an expedition to make meteorological and hydrological observations on a tropical glacier. Ancillary studies were made of other environmental features and were to be combined with an examination of the plant, animal and human communities to give an integrated picture of the region. The report covers the Glaciology, Meteorology, Hydrology, Geomorphology, Limnology, Botany, Dental Anthropology, and Land Use. (Author)
