PHASE DIAGRAM OF THE ZRC-MO SYSTEM (DIAGRAMMA SOSTOYANIYA ZRC-MO)

Abstract

To investigate the possibility of using as heat-resistant materials alloys consisting of ZrC bound by Mo, the quasi-binary section ZrC-Mo of the system Zr-C-Mo was studied. The constitutional diagram of the quasi-binary section was constructed on the basis of data obtained by chemical, x-ray diffraction, and metallographic study as well as of determinations of the temperatures of the beginning of melting.
