Nonlinear Analysis and Synthesis of Generalized Tracking Systems

Abstract

This report develops a rather general theory for use in the analysis and synthesis of generalized tracking systems. Synthesis procedures for effecting stochastic optimization of a generalized tracker are presented. The results are useful in various applications, e.g., synchronization techniques, radar tracking, missile guidance and navigation, and phase coherent communication systems.
