PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT FOR EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL PERSONNEL

Abstract

The design and engineering of a special protective ensemble for personnel who are required to dispose of toxic munitions are discussed. The various components comprising the overall system and their specific protective requirements are described. Performance characteristics of functional systems built to date are discussed.
