A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION OF A UTIAS IMPLOSION-DRIVEN SHOCK TUBE

Abstract

A detailed description is given of a program which has been developed to study analytically the performance of an implosion driven shock tube. Some results of the computations are presented; these have been checked experimentally using an existing 8 inch diameter implosion chamber and a 5/16 inch diameter channel.
