HISTOGRAM BEARING ANALYZER

Abstract

The Experimental Model Radio Direction Finding (RDF) Histogram-Time Averaging Processing System (Histogram Bearing Analyzer) and the data collection program conducted to determine its performance characteristics are described. Data comparing the capability of the Histogram Bearing Analyzer with a more conventional HF/DF readout system are presented. Recommendations for improvements in the model's performance are continued experimentation are suggested.
