STATISTICAL BAND MODEL PARAMETERS AND INTEGRATED INTENSITIES FOR THE 5.9 micron, 7.5 micron, AND 11.3 micron BANDS OF HNO3 VAPOR

Abstract

Quantitative absorption measurements of the 5.9 micron, 7.5 micron and the 11.3 micron bands of pure HNO3 vapor were carried out at 40C. Use was made of absorption cells of various lengths in order to obtain curves of growth. The statistical spectral band model was applied and band model parameters and integrated intensities were derived.
