Selected Material from Soviet Technical Literature, September 1972

Abstract

The report includes abstracts and bibliographic lists on major contractual subjects that were completed in September, 1972. The major topics are: laser technology, effects on strong explosions, geosciences, and particle beams. A section on material science has been included as the optional fifth topic, as well as a section on items of miscellaneous interest. Only laser entries concerning high-power effects are routinely covered in the monthly reports; in addition the present issue includes a number of selected articles on dye lasers.
