Selected Material from Soviet Technical Literature, December 1972

Abstract

The report includes abstracts and bibliographic lists on major contractual subjects that were completed in December, 1972. The major topics are: laser technology, effects of strong explosions, geosciences, and particle beams. Sections on material science and on items of miscellaneous interest are included as optional topics. Only laser entries concerning high-power effects are routinely included, since all current laser material appears regularly in the quarterly bibliographies. An index identifying source abbreviations and a first-author index to the abstracts are appended. Since this is the final report for 1972, a cumulative author index for all 1972 abstracts has also been included.
