Abstract

The report presents an evaluation of the detection and discrimination capabilities of nine VLPE stations, the VLPE network, and the VLPE-NORSAR-ALPA combined network. The data base consists of 545 Eurasian seismic events occurring during the periods January 1 through March 20 and June 1 through July 31, 1972.
