Rotorcraft Flight Simulation with Aeroelastic Rotor and Improved Aerodynamic Representation. Volume I. Engineer's Manual

Abstract

The report consists of three volumes and documents the current version in the C81 family of rotorcraft flight simulation programs developed by Bell Helicopter Company. This current version of the digital computer program is referred to as AGAJ73. This first volume, the Engineer's Manual, presents an overview of the computer program capabilities plus discussions for the background and development of the principal mathematical models in the program. The models discussed include those developed under the current contract as well as two previous contracts.
