NICKEL BASE ALLOYS ALLOY 718: PROCESSES AND PROPERTIES HANDBOOK

Abstract

The handbook on Alloy 718 is a compilation of available data and information covering the metallurgy, manufacturing, applications, and mechanical properties of this nickel-base heat-resistant alloy. Much of the textual matter has been condensed from reports and literature received from both the producers and the users of this alloy and covers subjects such as melting, forming, welding, metallography, and others of interest to the user. Mechanical properties are presented for each of the product forms and conditions in which this alloy is used and both original and digested data are included for tensile, fatigue, creep-rupture, and other properties.
