SERIES OF MODEL TESTS ON DUCTED PROPELLERS

Abstract

This reports presents the results of open water tests and observation of the cavitation characteristics of systematic series of flow decelerating type of nozzles (or pumpjets). The tested nozzle shapes have been derived theoretically. The results of these theoretical calculations and of the experiments, are presented in a non-dimensional form in graphs and tables. A discussion of the results is given.
