STUDIES COMPARING NUCLEIC ACID METABOLISM AND RESPIRATION IN PROTEUS VULGARIS, ITS STABLE L-PHASE AND THE SIMILAR PPLO

Abstract

The intent of this report is to lay a groundwork on physiological bases for the L-phase transformation and the possible relationship between L-phase and PPLO. NA, protein and respiration intensity during growth of P. vulgaris, L-phase, and a strain of PPLO were measured.
