ARPA ANTENNA STUDY. PART 1. DISPERSION STUDY

Abstract

The purpose was to perform studies in the antenna development program for the Big Push Radar. The first task was to consider the dispersive properties of the Log Periodic Dipole Array element when some of the dipoles were reactively loaded. This effort was primarily a literature search to determine what has been accomplished in loading of LPD elements, and in the study of dispersive properties of frequency independent antennas.
