Cases in Logistics Management: the Maintenance Function

Abstract

A series of case studies have been developed to facilitate understanding of the functional areas of logistics -- requirements determination, acquisition, distribution, and maintenance. This particular document is concerned with the maintenance function -- the continued support of that which has been acquired and distributed -- and includes a set of five cases which may be used to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of the logistics manager.
