A Compendium of Military Assistance and Foreign Military Sales Programs by Geographic Area and Country

Abstract

The prime objective of this thesis was to compile a compendium of all Military Assistance dollar expenditures by country, by year, since the inception of the current program. A secondary objective was to illustrate that the trend during the 1960's in the Military Assistance Program was from Grant Aid Military Assistance (MAP) to Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This study has been limited to the modern day period of Military Assistance, ie: 1950-1970.
