Fabrication Development and Flow Testing of Underwater Superhydrophobic Films for Drag Reduction

Abstract

By developing appropriate superhydrophobic (SHPo) films we have obtained a significant (>20 ) drag reduction for all flow conditions tested: in high speed water tunnel, in high speed tow tank, and with a motor boat on ocean water.
