Abstract
Lecture series defined by the Duden as a series of lectures by several lecturers, mostly from different disciplines, have gained in importance at all universities in recent years. Of course, this has not only content-related reasons. In view of the relatively large number of teachers involved, it is relatively easy to set up a course characterized by diversity, in which the connection between the individual events often remains unclear. The more this is the case, and the individual lectures treat only one aspect, the more fashionable and nonsensical classes can become ring lectures. Our attempt is not entirely free from this danger. But we have one advantage: it is not a lecture series with external participants, each reporting from their current work, but an "internal" Versastaltung, in which a total of eleven faculty members have presented their perspectives to a pre-rooted, cross-topic of which nine could be published in this volume.
