Floor Coating Demonstration: Aircraft Maintenance Shop

Abstract

This report was prepared to document the efforts of the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) in demonstrating the application of a new floor coating specification designed for Aircraft Maintenance Shops. The demonstration was performed on the floor surface of a 1,700 ft2 Electronic Equipment Maintenance Shop (Bldg. 1055) located at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas. A combination of funding from NFESCs Demonstration/Validation program (DEMVAL) and the NAS JRB was used to perform all work associated with this effort.
