Test Operations Procedure (TOP) 02-2-514 Roadway Simulator

Abstract

This Test Operations Procedure (TOP) describes use of the Roadway Simulator (RWS) when conducting standardized automotive performance tests of two- and three-axle wheeled vehicles. Objective tests are performed on the RWS in accordance with industry standards, other U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) TOPs, or unique tests described in test plans. In all cases, the vehicle is controlled by an autopilot and the RWS is operated in the Road Load or Road Speed mode.
