Studies on Information Mechanics

Abstract

Related issues connected with the transmission of information in a command and control environment are modelled and analyzed theoretically. These include search in an area rich in false targets, and surveillance. In addition, the mechanics are considered of the transmission of information from the field to the command level with particular emphasis on the use of redundant, fallible communication channels.
