187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team, Airborne Operations, Sukchon-Sunchon, Korea 20 October 1950

Abstract

The purpose of this memorandum is to reduce to writing in the form of a recommended check list lessons learned from the operation conducted by this unit from 20-23 October 1950. The contents will include notes on the planning and preparation phase of the operation. It should be noted by all that this memorandum is not designed to be the final authority on all aspects of an airborne operation, but rather it should serve as a check list of points which may be slighted or overlooked.
