Tactical Reaction to Nuclear Attack

Abstract

Purpose: To present a discussion of immediate actions to be taken by units of an infantry division in the few hours after being hit by a nuclear attack, prior to a deliberate estimate of the situation, and pending receipt of orders from higher headquarters. This, in the initial stages of a war before actual experience on a nuclear battlefield.
